Seer S1621 Earns NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Rating

The New Seer S1621 has earned the prestigeous National Tactical Officer's Association (NTOA) Member Tested and Recommended rating.

What is tested?

NTOA members have tested more than 2,000 products in real-world situations through the NTOA’s Member Tested and Recommended Program (MTRP) since 2003. Results of these tests are shared with the law enforcement community in The Tactical Edge magazine, NTOA online database, NTOA eNewsletters and the product manufacturers themselves. The MTRP logo is widely displayed on product packaging, ads and websites, and is regarded by many law enforcement agencies as paramount to their product purchasing decisions.

How are products rated?

Starting in 2018, the logo rating scale is as follows: 3.00 – 3.99 receives the standard logo, 4.00 – 4.49 receives the silver logo, and 4.50 – 5.00 receives the gold logo. Manufacturers may use the logo on marketing materials, ads or websites for only the product
that earned the logo.

The Seer S1621 earned the NTOA SILVER Rating of VERY GOOD!

The VERY GOOD rating is given to products that "exceeds advertised specifications on a regular basis and outperforms others is usefulness and quality of workmanship". During a 60 day field test, the Seer S1621 was tested and scored in 12 of 13 rating categories by 4 qualified law enforcement field testers from Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Florida. All of the field testers rated the Seer S1621 with high marks.

What does this mean for today's law enforcement officers?
