Seer S1604-CE Features Include: • Composite Shell Material - The helmet shell is made of S.T.R.O.N.G. fiber, a special glass-fiber reinforced Duroplast matrix, and is available in two individual helmet shell sizes. Large central button allows user to easily open the chinbar even while wearing gloves. • Aerodynamic- The C3 features an aerodynamic shape and has been developed in a wind tunnel. The results are high performance aerodynamics which include directional stablility, no oscillation tendency, no buffeting. • Aeroacoustics - The C3 features an acoustic collar. This makes the helmet extremely quiet at <= 84 dB(A) at 65 mph. This allows the officer to concentrate and clearly hear and transmit radio traffic even while at highway speeds. • Visor - Outer visor features double glazing technology. City Position allows for air flow at speeds up to 20 mph. The PinLock® Visor is guaranteed condensation free and eliminates fogging on the inside of the lens. Outer lens is easy removable for cleaning or replacement. Integrated internal sun visor provides protection from the sun even when the chinbar is in the up position. The internal sun visor is easily deployed by a sliding switch on the side of the helmet. • Ventilation - Innovative ventilation system allows up to 1.8gal (236oz) of cool, fresh air, per second, at 65mph. The C3 features a chin vent, variable pad system, and visor vent. The chin vent directs air on the inside of the outer shield to help prevent fogging. • A.R.O.S. - Anti-Roll-Off-System - The Anti-Roll-Off-System developed especially by Schuberth is provided as a safety feature in every C3 helmet. Provided the chinstrap is closed and correctly adjusted, the AROS system provides that the helmet cannot pivot off the head from behind, the risk of contact between the chin section of the helmet and the chin or neck of the rider is minimised due to small angle of tilt, and the consequences of the helmet coming into contact with the chest as the result of an accident are reduced. • Interior - Plush, comfortable comfort liner and ear rolls are removable, replaceable, and washable. • Finish - The C3 can easily be painted to meet any department requirements. A complete, professional paint finish application is performed to create any color or trim style. Polane paint and automotive urethane clearcoat is applied to create a smooth, glossy, professional appearance.
