Seer Helmets is proud to offer a new innovative product for
Motor Officer safety. Seer’s new Impact Vest uses current
airbag technology and brings it to the law enforcement
industry. Seer’s Impact Vest is unlike anything you have
ever seen.
Seer’s Impact Vest is made of a breathable mesh material.
The vest comes in Dark Blue or Black colors. It is available
with or without reflectors. It also comes with “POLICE”,
“SHERIFF”, or plain reflective decals. Available in sizes S -
3XL. The vest weighs a mere 3lbs. Department issued
decals can be sewn on if requested.
To use the vest, simply wear it over your current uniform.
Simply tether the shock cord to the crash bar on the front of the motorcycle. Once
the shock cord is attached, there is an inline quick-release that allows for fast
mounts/dismounts. The vest has a 60lb trigger mechanism that eliminates accidental
deployment. When you are tethered to the motorcycle and you happen to get
ejected from the motorcycle, then the vest will inflate in less than 1/2 second. Once
inflated, the vest stays fully inflated for 7 seconds. The deployed/inflated vest
provides rigid protection for the rib cage front & back, tailbone protection
and a neck roll that gives additional support/protection to the users
helmeted head. Inflation is provided by a single 60cc CO2 cartridge.
After the vest has been deployed, it can be reused! Inspect the vest
to make sure that the airbags are not damaged, insert a new CO2
cartridge, reset the trigger mechanism, and snap the airbags back
up into the vest. All that is needed is to order a new replacement
CO2 cartridge which are available. The Impact Vest has side
adjustment straps to accomidate multiple users. The vest is reusable,
and washable. Many departments have found multiple uses for the
vest such as training, daily patrol, night patrol, traffic patrol, and other
special assignments.
